Ignacio worked with different EPC contractors and engineering firms for more than 15 years. He has executed the construction of more than 1,1GW of renewable projects in Europe, Latin America, Caribbean and Asia (Wind onshore and floating offshore, PV, Thermosolar) managing a total budget over €1.3bn. During this period, he has directed the construction teams and project managers, coordinated internal departments as well as driving the negotiation of EPC contracts, main equipment supplies and BoP related subcontracts and assisted the O&M department. Amongst his achievements, he was the first EPC contractor project manager of renewable projects to connect with the grid in Dominican Republic and Peru. Ignacio holds a BEng (Hons) in Forestry Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
